Opening hours

Our stargazing tours in Auckland run year-round, with sessions scheduled around moon phases to maximise dark sky viewing. Tours typically last 2 to 3 hours, starting after dusk. The experience is suitable for all ages and fitness levels – no hiking is required.

What's on offer

Our guides adjust the programme based on what is visible on the night. Seasonal highlights include the winter Milky Way core, planetary alignments, meteor showers, and Matariki which holds deep significance in Māori culture. When conditions allow, astrophotography opportunities are available using the telescope setup.
